UT GOLD? what is happening?
Hello All,
What is happening to this fund? Why is it going down? any idea? My question is I applied for 1000 units @ 100 per unit = 1,00,000. I was allotted 103 units, I do not know @ what price. Present total market price is 88,889.00 Am I supposed to get some refund? What is the relation ship between 1000 units and 103 units? At what price 103 units were issued? I was not involved in share market (for the past 06 months). Can anyone explain? Sattvic.

I may be wrong buy each unit of Gold ETF fund is equivalent to 1 gram of gold, which means each Gold ETF usit price should in the range of 900 - 1000/- . Since you got 103 units i guess during the allotment the price of each unit was around 970/- (i guess u need to pay the entry load too i.e.e 2.5%. Again i may be wrong). Gold price came down by few points recently so did Gold ETF unit. Hope this helps.
