I am new to this forum. It is very interesting to see all of our views and comments related to various stocks. Thankyou all for enlightening newcomers.
Please can any one clarify.
I have an demat a/c in hdfc and bought 21 shares of BHEL on Apr 2007.
There was share split on 1st June 2007. But till today the change is not updated in my demat a/c and show 21 nos.
I had enquired hdfc support person but they say that the instruction should come from BHEL/security and request me to contact karvy person...
I really dont understand the way this works.
Can anyone through some light on this? How long will it take to update my demat a/c?

it shud have been updated by now. TRy contacting the Investor Relations of BHEL.
