Hi Guys,

While Trading Without The Charts Has Its Virtues...Though I Must Say It Is Not For Everyone...Anybody Trading Without Charts Must Have The Following:

1) Selection Of Stocks / Stock Futures

2) Criteria For Selection Should Be Based On Good Range It Moves Through The Day.

3) Selection Should Also Be Based Across Sectors....Knowing Where The Smart Money Has Its Eye On...

4) Willling To Be Flexible About How Much A Particualr Stock Can Give You On Intraday....Rather Than......Being Bullheaded.....That One Shall Only Exit At A Particular Price....

5) Should Not Hesitate To Exit Position If It Moves Against Beyond A Certain Point.

6) There Are Certain Time Factors.....Of The Day For Which To Be Aware Of....From 10:10 to 10:45, 12:00 to 12:45 One Usually Can See Some Downside....Thereafter 1:30 & 2:20 To Know....Which Way The Market Is Headed....

7) Should Keep An Eye On Sudden Spurt In Prices.....Which Are Ideal For Shorting & Covering For A Small Profit....Should Very Nimble & NOT Too Greedy About Taking Advantage Of Sudden Spurts....

8) Ideal Candidates For Point 7 At The Moment Is McDowell, ONGC, Bharti, PFC, Punj, Divis, IDFC & SBI....(These are the ones on my watch List....There are others......which I don't have on my watchlist)

8) Advisable Number Of Stocks To Track Are 4 for The Day.....To Really Get To Know Its Range & Know When To Enter & Exit....

9) I Personnally Use Visual Movements....To Scale Up or Down My Positions...

10) Watch & Practice Before One Becomes Comfortable With This Kind Of Trading.

Here Is A List Of Stock Futures (Not Recommendations) Presently On My Terminal.... NF, CNXIT, Infosys, Reliance, PFC, Renuka, ONGC, SBI, ICICI, HDFCBK, IDFC, PUNJLLOYD, UNIPHOS, STROPTICAL, DIVISLAB, McDowell, ReLCap, GMRINFRA, UTIBK, IVRCLINFRA, PRAJIND, IDBI & IDEA....Can't Remember there maybe a few more.....

Some people do trade without help of charts and depending totally upon levels. I started a thread on this in another section on supports and resistances. Darsh another member has also shown us there that this system is also really effective. I would like to know more on this calculation. It uses fibo sequence.

Dear Asish Da,

It is only to illustrate a point that Concentration, Nimbleness & Not Hesitating To Close A loosing Trade...Can All Help.....& Definitely Not Recommended For People Not Sitting In Front A Terminal.
