RCOM buying IDEA rumour
Hi friends,
Does anyone know more about this rumour. Obviously the rumour is very strong and that is why IDEA has been rising in a falling market in the last two trading sessions. Or maybe I have got it wrong and there is some other rumour that is driving the price of IDEA up.

i think the news is wrong..... Reason No 1 : If the news is right, then IDEA might havent rose by 2.6% and 1.9% ONLY.... Rather 5-10% each day....  Reason No 2 : Same as Above Have a nice day JB

hai all. RCOM may or may not buy IDEA.But the news is that DOT is making roaming across all networks compulsory.so IDEA can easily access all other operator's towers and thus will have pan indian presence.the absence of pan indian presence was eating into its profits.so we have a cheap cell company and that is why large operators have already bought huge huge quantities of IDEA cheap.so there are chances of some stocks being sold in rising market!!!.
so beware of any sharp upward moments.buy with a long term horizon and surely IDEA will give a decent profit. bye ravi

I cannot be 100% sure of the rumour, but surely there must be something otherwise why should IDEA rise, while Bharti falls by nearly 2% and RCOM by more than 4%.
Look at the June futures price of the stock, it is nearly 2 Rs higher than the May futures price and that for a stock priced 120 Rs is quite a lot. Anyway, I decided to share this information with the forum members, because if it is true the price of IDEA will shoot up. I think sharing of rumours on this forum is a good idea, because you know what they say, buy on rumours, sell on news. Just one small problem I dont have the money!But still thinking of buying both........doesnt hurt to think
