Default CIPLA : What to do for Long Term.

Dear Members,

I am holding few CIPLA @ 263 per share. This stock was seams not perfoming well after it got crash 15 % on same day.

I can hold this stock for long term if it will be profitable.

So what's ur suggestion for this stock ? Sell / Buy more / Hold / Wait & Wath for some trigger then take decision.

with regards

Jaydip

dear jaydip
u have to hold it for at least medium-term for exiting.. if u have used stop-losses, then the loss may have been much more minimal... cipla is currently on a down trend and its near up target is only around 215. final decision will be yours..

I don't know if I can comment on this but you will get millions of opinions, which may contradict each other. The person with a better narrative ability often tends to stand out but even he/she, unfortunately, won't be able to help you in predicting price movements/future potential.
Why don't you see if the "reason you entered the stock" (which may be anything ranging from astrology to technical indicators) has been voilated or proved wrong and if it is time for you to hold on or dispose it?

Pharma companies are all said to be good well managed companies, earn huge profits, but do not give returns to shareholders... wonder why..
In my opinion its good to take the loss and get out of CIPLA and invest in a moving sector.. If you want to wait to recover the loss, it may be a long time..
