Flawed Ideas of Tipsters

If xyz is above ABC buy, and if it is below PDQ, sell.

What kinda analysis ( I hate to call it that ) is this? How come nobody says that the trend on daily charts is up, but on a 60 minute chart it is down, so you should buy on declines, or the trend on the daily charts is down, but on a 60 minute chart it is up, so you should sell on rallies. Same thing applies to Weekly/Daily time frames.

How can a stock have a buy and a sell at the same time, irrespective of the price levels? This whole logic is flawed

absolutely right,is ur face right now as this smiley.seems to me at least.

how many can actually get in proper positional trades.if i tell u u keep shorting nifty till 4400 coz i think its a bear market,can you do that.
come to my world.you gat guts,trade it like that then.but its 1 out 10000 in traders,so the tips need to be modified to have small entry/exit points.

okie,i have a proper positional trade for you.till the time nifty[spot],dont close and trade above 4188,you keep shorting on every rise or fall.start shorting now and till tatamotors don't cross and trade above 774,keep shorting it at every rise.

no ss, the logic is always right. u have played enough chess trap ..opponent understand your original intention later...so u win by winning in thinking...planning..better than in higher time frame.
only idea to play to make money...wherever u buy u have to sell higher.
so when we buy ...hoping now it shall move up.suppose i play 10min. chess against u [ur time limit 1hr]...still i shall win..as i have practiced it more than 6yr....so amateur shall lose unless unless ..within 1st ten of a state..with rating higher than 2200.same case in trade...i novice must lose against good pro SS ...as i fumble before entry...where as u know actual move ....

bookish idea has given clearly by dr elder.BUT I BELIEVE ALL BIG MOVE MUST START WITH SMALL ONE.....AFTER X...3-5% VALUE IT HAS SOME TENDENCY TO CONTINUE...MANY A FAIL...THATS RANDOM MOVE...

so predictive resistance is a profit booking idea for support buyer...and x pt is nothing but oppurtunity for break out player..
as a pro since u play both ...u know ...i am right...

however monumental works done by j m hurst........

also at www.ino.com....regarding which time frame to choose....for formless trading.

Hi oilman5,

Nice analogy with Chess! But anyway, before even Elder arrived on this earth, the larger time frames always took precedent, and when somebody goes against the trend on Daily charts, ie let us say the trend is up, and you sell, will it not be a blunder? Remember, you are initiating a trade in the wrong direction in the first place and then you hope to cover!?

how are you dear?

well i always think Intuition overpowers logic
and market harshly beats the ' So called Analytical Logic' .There is far more superior force on which it runs. Understanding this force is not impossible, this force is like the true enlightenment which very few people were able to go like Buddha with the help of meditation and other spiritual practices.

And in markets, people like Gann, Larry etc. have attended and used this force.

on purity basis against primary wave..intermediate term ..short move occurs which utilise wisely by pro like u.so the person knows bothside of story...when to feed ...when to ride.SIGNAL MUST LITTLE DIFFICULT TO EMPLOY...HOWEVER..those who have seen enough[by staying in mumbai..nearby sea and financial capital can react quickly enough to earn..
for fool like us ..its a losing game...winning little,lose more...out of frustation missing the big oppurtunity.

basis of profit is how many fools r after u...the story of catching bear before it catches u..suddenly gun found locked...its ur turn to run...hoping u run faster...and bear catch ur friend who is not so expert in flying away...i see this analogy on regular basis on tv...telling to HOLD..BY SUITED BOOTED PRO...SO THAT THEY CAN GET OUT...OR SHORT WELL...

TRUE STENGTH...SEE THE BIGGER WAVE ..BEFORE ITS FORMING...
THE PROBABLE PT WHERE IT CAN FORM...
READY WITH MONEY TO TAKE POSITION..
ALTERNATE SCENARIO...[AS SUGGESTED BY GREAT CV]...KEEP EYE..JOIN WHERE AND WHEN BIG WAVE IS FORMING...OTHERWISE SIT IDLE.

by the way i won against fritz 5...many a game...ploy....its computer blunderred...ha ha...a recent game in club 2200+...i won aggressively with knight sacrifice...BUT NEVER PUT THAT METHOD OF CHESS...recklessness is very costly in market.

under..wisdom' heading...i request u to answer them.as u know it shall not tell ur system..u can wholeheartedly help . dont know,whether i am right to write here....forbidden art of trading will be exposed here.many a pro r available here in this great forum...i request them to make comments.
1. why they r superior ?
2. what time frame they trade?
3. how far they r subjective in trading ?
4. what r the reason for their actual consistency ?
5. on what condition they dont trade ?
6. what is their contingency plan[enough is enough..now i am booking loss]
7. what self sabotage u find most difficult to overcome..yet how u have done it ?
8. do u think beginner trader[4yr amateur] can be like u oneday ?if yes. HOW!

Nice one. You beat Fritz 5? Wow! you must be a really good player. Here, I am still struggling with Chess Master 9000! Haven't played any tournaments for ages- guess the last was umm... 1989! I sometimes play on ***** - speed chess, 10 minutes, and 3 seconds increment.... it's real fun. I have a big fat book on End Games, written by G.Kasparyan, and it a real hard work to find the winning combination. Basically it is called domination- no two move mate by White, but White to play and win,and it is an excellent work. Will PM you some examples.

Yes, I saw your other thread, and will try to contribute my two cents.

ya i solved that book.long back..thats like ewt. later shifted to eco and ece. works of most chess champ. r with me... i play tournament in 1973.in 1984..i was a rated player..as u know we have to serve ...i can not turn pro in chess.. later again i play just for state level ..[not this state]..
just like trading puzzle i solved many a chess problem..creating my wife a chesswidow..so govt offered me to play here and there..1994..2002...learning it from 1970..winning from 1973..many win little loss...its below 100...winning>2000. some 2chaps in national i guided...i am nolonger ...aged man...also office job not permit...not sharp anymore...after amnesia in a fall.
so i read ..and learn trading...its an intellectual pasttime for me.so i am not a trader at per see.holding loser..definite reason for my loss..its the draw back of a chessplayer..he fights till death.
on the contrary , a right trader knows best when to fold...and search for new oppurtunity...without wasting money and mental energy further.

its not 2cents..but two gold coins
