Am tracking nagfer, but i dont c nything which can tk the stock to 29 in 7 days. Iam holding with a target of 19 in short term.

dear friends.. Nagarjuna fert has given bad results for the year 2007...in addition the projections for the year 2007-08 are also not attractive.. generally NFCL will retrive after results to lowest levels.... back to pavilion.. However the sudden spike on monday clearly indicates some positive wind in this counter... if you look at the future scenario of this company... 1. this company is a single product urea manufacturing unit in kakinada port. and gas is the only raw material for this product. since gas is not available at present, expensive naphtha and APM gas are being used as raw material. NFCL is expecting govt nod for replacing APM gas with KG basin gas (RIL). 2. RIL is proposing 12 year gas supply contract with NFCL, for which again Govt is required. if it happens NFCLwill be the first nearest unit to utilise RIL gas as it is strategically located in Kakinada and all gas pipilines of KG gas has to go through the vicinity of NFCL. 3. NFCL today got 2 urea producing plants in the same campus. unfortunately the cost of production of urea from these two plants are different, for subsidy calculation, a loss of 30 crores oer annum . NFCL is fighting with govt to make it uniform pricing, if it succeeds, again a positive indication. 4. NFCL got two ailing subsidiries, Nagarjuna power corporation(power plant in mangalore) and Nagarjuna oil corporation(oil refinery in tamilnadu), which really crippled the financial situation of NFCL. A positive indication is both subsidiries are getting out of NFCL balance sheet soon as NFCL is working out aleternatives with Tata and Reliance for a stake in these subsidiries. This is another positive indication.. 5. RIL gas is going to commence from april'08, NFCL is going to be fully 100% operational with gas as raw source, a net bottomline upto 160 crores. 6. Govt. positive thinking to pull out the subsidy concept of fertilisers may give another plus point.. 7. Entry of operators like RJ since last december is clear indication of bullish run ahead. The only negetive factor going to be higher interest rates for sourcing funds.. and delay in subsidy payments from govt. RIL is having an eye in this company , so that the residual gas from KG basin will be fully utilised with NFCL ... even a stake by RIL cannt be over ruled... Al these are indicative of a " POSITIVE WIND" for this scrip....No idea of how it will push the scrip ahead.. but... 50% to 100% appreciation can be expected by Jan'08.
