FII stake in Dish Tv

After the disasterous listing yesterday, i was going through the end of day bulk deals and here are the prominent FIIs who bought prominent stake in dish tv;

India Capital fund 41 Lakh shares @ 115.27
Lloyd George Mauritius 36 Lakh Shares @ 116.00
T Rowe Price emerging markets fund 32 Lakh shares @ 116.00
T Rowe Price new asia fund 59 Lakh shares @ 116.00

Dish tv is a loss making company and wont show any profits till 08-09 (best case scenario!) so exercise caution if trading in this counter.

Incidentally, T Rowe Prices MTM losses are more than 12 Crores

These Big Guys Certainly Know A Thing Or Two About Dish Tv.
If They Are Buying Why Not Me?

AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAVE BAUGHT AND I AM GOING WHOLE HOG.(5%)
I SHALL HOLD FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS
AND IF IT CRACKS NO TEARS
TO MITIGATE THE RISK I'LL TAKE WIRE AND WIRELESS(5%)
ONE OR THE OTHER IS GOING TO BE A SUCCESS.

Wouldnt really call myself bullish on the counter but I picked up 1000 shares yesterday at avg. of 97.5 Counter was available 20 Rs cheaper than where substantial buying took place so I thought why not test the waters. Dont expect any dividend payout from the company but there might be a buyout story in the making as dish tv could be an acquisition target in the near future...

I got the info from the end of day files over at the nse. If you check the links on a daily basis you can get a good idea of the FII investment in a particular counter. Better to check these links around 730-800 pm as they are usually updated by then..
