Question Can we trade "futures" thru HDFCSec ?

Hi Guys...

Does HDFCSec.com allows Futures trading?

I am currently using HDFCSec for equity trading only. I wish to go for Futures trading as well. But I don't see the "Futures" option in the Buy/Sell screen. Currently it shows the option for "Equity" trading only.

Happy Trading...
TKM.

I also use HDFC. Though I have never traded in Futures, the site does have a button for Derivatives. I am not sure how it works though. It will be best to write to HDFCSEC and get more details.
Post your findings and enlighten us.
Thanks

Hi,

I trade with HDFC Secs. I give below the relevant page from their welcome page.

How do I know whether I can trade in Derivatives or not?

Only those clients who have both signed the Derivatives agreement and submitted their PAN numbers to us have been provided with Derivatives trading privileges.

Once the ‘Equities’ tab in your trading account changes to ‘Equities & Derivatives’, your derivative trading privileges have been enabled. You may now begin trading in derivative contracts.

If your derivative trading privileges have not been enabled and you would like to do so, please contact our Customer Care department at 2834 6600 (from Mumbai), 1600 22 9700 (Toll-free - All India). Alternatively you can email us at customercare@hdfcsec.com.

Hope it is clear.

So, write to them , do the necessary paperwork and then you are ON.

Cheers.
