!! TELEDATA ?? pls advise !

Hearing lots abt Teledata on Zee business . Says TELEDATA :-

1) has 10 acquisitions in pipeline
2) will increase headcount to 12000 by year end

should one buy this stock ? ?? Seniors / experts pls advise.

Has the potential to touch 100 after demerger. Not expensive on PE terms also.

It seems a very good buy. I have this scrip. Not much discussion in this forum on teledata. Last thre days this touched upper circuit. If you buy 100 shares after demerger you get 100 tededata informatics, 50 marine and 50 tedata solutions. Company reported good profit. citigroup and barclays together holding about 22 lakh shares. Recommend buy on this

Hi Everyone,

I don't want to ruin the party for anyone holding this scrip, but this company looks dicey to me..Can anyone explain why, inspite of all the positives the company is showing, the promoters haven't increased their stake in it ?? Don't you think promoters would have liked to increase & protect their stake which currently is only 14% or so ? Do write your opinion about it.

Premier, your concern is right. Teledata's management was not highly professional but they are improving. After acquiring esys in singapore for $ 105 million goel (esys owner) has joined teledata and he is CEO of one of the demerged companies. Go to the site teledata and it quite impressive. In the demerged entities promoters are increasing their stake in the company. In revenues this the 6th largest company in india

it is in April. Don't know exact date. By the way one more info. FIIs holding increased from less than 2 % in Dec to about 15% in March
