Hello everyone,
infy came out with results that were in line with market expectations. The market gave due respect to the FAIR ENOUGH results and appreciated accordingly. Now the long term market prospects have some data to support them. but is this odacious display going to continue for long??????????
This question haunts many of us and is of course one of the most tedious questions. I am talking about FY 2007 ONLY as thats what matters to most of us traders as most of us are not having 5 year plans for our stocks. I am listing a few negative factors which can crush the india story for this year:
1. A government without any vision.
2.The all time danger of american economy slowing down.
3.The chances for a war with IRAN by anyone. i say anyone because many countries want to do that to IRAN.
4.Inflation
5. Chances of a worldwide recession , thanks to the two head on wars.

Most of these fears are reasonable in the present scenario as they are all likely to happen sometime. what matters is which one hits the world markets and indian markets first.

WHAT DO U THINK. IS IT ALL A SERIES OF BAD THOUGHTS OR SOME FACTORS CAN FRACTURE THE WHEELS OF THE INDIAN JUGGERNAUT, OF COURSE FOR THE VERY NEAR TERM... THIS YEAR MAY BE???????????????
THINK AND TELL.

HI

This year will be very difficult for stock market as you rightly said chances of war with IRAN…

If it goes as you said than, I am sure US economy will be negative after war

World markets and Indian markets will definitely be affected….

In the short-medium term we would be headed to new highs. Then, long term is likely to be very dangerous

As far as U.S. economy is concerned, thee does seems to be great risks in the form of war, slower economic growth etc.

What is interesting though is that management in Infy are quite positive about their stand in U.S. this is based on their existing customers as well the new ones.
