- This was the period when WW II took place and Hitler created a havoc round the world
- US was mainly governed by militry actions and competition with USSR. - There was civial unrest within US and Europe. So I guess in theory SENSEX BEAR may go wild to 7500 or even 75 if any of following stucks to our luck.. 1) Indo-Pak-China war breaks out. 2) Immense political instability (ie govt is formed with help of 100 or even 272 parties or individuals). 3) Gulf/world runs out of crude and there is no other viable alternate energy sources. 4) All ice at poles melt and major cities of world submerges into water (ie Global warming at worst) 5) Severe earthquacks or natural calamilities rocks subcontinent. 6) India's tie with developed countries weakens or even lost. 7) Brain deseases breaks out in India due to over use of mobile or similar devices. 8) Lifespan and producitivities of people dramatically decreases due to various factors like genetically modified food, over use of chamically developed fertilisers, milk obtained from cow using steroid injections, fake medicines, fake money etc etc. 9) Anything that can threaten or weaken current possitive strenths... On other side we can count on SENSEX to reach to 25000.. 1) soon India will have largest English speaking intectual pool of resources for any white or blue collar jobs. 2) New generation of politians may be more fruitfull 3) Population --> More demand --> More supply --> more Profit 4) Increasing percent of Middle-Class 5) Open policies. 6) Anything else that can strenghthen our current positive... World war two started in 1939, 10years after the financial crisis. Hitler's popularity had made new lows in the 1928 elections, the USSR conflict didn't start till late 1940's and US and Europe had just experienced a decade of unprecedented growth. |

After Great Depression of 1929, US managed its economy prudently and grew so strong as to support the major effort in WW-II !!!!

SENSEX kissing 25000 in 2009 is most likely.
Reasons --Millions of traders / investors (madrush for R-Power IPO) joined during first 3 weeks of 2008 would like to recover their lost capital. --Cooling-up of Oil prices--shoot upto 150$ due due speculation. --Inflation to be under control--may comedown to 5% again. --Political stability since Lok Sabha election would be over. --FIIs inflow coming back to India and so on. |

Inflation at 12.4% and growth at 7.9%, i am sure 90% of indians can not tell what the real rate of growth is given the 2 numbers. rupee at 44, i am betting on breaching 50.
looking at our own state AP we had 10,000Crores debt in the first 40 years after independence, then 40,000Cr in the next 10 years, and another 40,000crores in the next 7 years, now that should tell a lot about where this money that we see in our cities is coming from. when one looks at action above sensex 15,000, looks like people are waiting to sell into any strength they could find. my 7500 prediction is intact, this leg down will be 12k. |
