IPCL merger with RIL????
I bought IPCL 300 shares on 26/03/2007. i would like to know whether I am elligible for RIL shares. Would like to know, When is the record date of the merger????.

Indian Petrochemicals Corpn. Ltd. has informed the Exchange that by an Order made on March 16, 2007, the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature of Gujarat at Ahmedabad has directed that meetings of the Equity Shareholders, Secured Creditors (including Debenture Holders) and Unsecured Creditors of the Applicant Company (Indian Petrochemicals Corpn. Ltd.) be convened and held on April 14, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Amalgamation of the Applicant Company with Reliance Industries Limited. A copy of the notices shall be available on the NSE website (http://www.nseindia.com) under: Corporates > Latest Announcements and on the Extranet Server (/Common/Corporate Announcements).
