According to ping manoj, there was a bulk deal on 19th Jan, by Reliance capital at 164. There was heavy selling just a few days after.

Experts please put in your views about this volume action vis a vis the data given by manoj.

Good question, here is the answer.
This is my point of view, friends please suggest if otherwise.

Here goes:
We can build a trading strategy around these bulk deals.
1. We can comfortably assume that the big broking houses, like the ones listed above, would be doing deep studies before moving into a stock.
2. These corporate houses must be having information which individuals may not have.

So, the strategy is to just following them.

Nevertheless, you are the best judge of wether to buy or to avoid.
Maybe, one would consider researching the price action of scrips where such large bulk deals have happened.

Incase I get time I might do such a report or something on this. Till then.....

Best Wishes

MANOJ T

The forun could be located on http://www.traderji.com/equities/118...s-section.html

Well, since watching bulk deals has worked for majority of scripts, we have a new stock comming up. And that is "BHAGYANAGAR INDIA LTD". I had posted a reply in this thread earlier in this regards. I am sure this will work too.
