Default Elliott wave count

Hi all,

Just started to learn about EW, since last 4 days. I'm reading the book by Robert Beckman.

I've very little knowledge on the same, and here I like to know whether I'm correct or not.

Nifty:

As I'd read from others post, it seems Wave V of the long bull run was over and we are in Wave A of the 3 corrective waves of the previous long 5 impulse bull move.

Since the corrective wave A should be greater than previous corrections Wave 2 and Wave 4, the Nifty will shed the price which is Max(wave2, wave4). In our case Wave 4(!2May to 16Jun) is max, with price amplitude being 947 points. So the Nifty will come down by at least 947 points from the pivot high 4213 to 4213 - 947 = 3266. Am I correct?

Meanwhile I'm following (High + Low)/2 as the price style for plotting price.

Regards,
Praveen.

Hi,

Thanks for the links.

Meanwhile how to get the chart for other symbols like DJIA, NSE(does it support NSE?), etc. I searched in that site, but couldn't find out.

Praveen.

What I was looking for was, some sample count of some popular indices, just for learning purpose, and to get a feel. The link given by Jay had the necessary details, those of Caldaro.

Regards,
Praveen.

Hi all,

Is it possible to view his counts for the past? Although it has weekly chart counts, the daily HLC charts contains sub wave counts, which I'm looking for.

For eg. for BSE it has Daily HLC charts from June 2006. Is it possible to get the daily HLC charts before that of June 2006, just to view his counts for previous sub waves?

Current chart: http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/F...06987&cmd=show[s67200085]&disp=O

Thanks,
Praveen.

Hi,

I tried to label the move in Nifty from Nov 2005 to late April 2006. Can anyone please tell me whether I'm right or wrong?

Thanks,
Praveen.

Hi Praveen,

Stockcharts codes are: $INDU ( Dow ), $SPX ( S&P500 ), $BSE, etc. They don't have NSE.
