Default BLOCK DEALS - Delivery pick

Dear,

For investor we regularly invest into market for short term, can try this strategy with snall lots..

Whenever Big companies do block deal (We can see in BL), we can buy that stock and hold for minimum 10days, we can get good return from our investment.

My last tried scrip:

1. GBN bought by Rel capital @ 480 & @ 460, my average is Rs 500, exit @ 704, now @ 670
2. Swan steel bought by UBS Sec @ 95 & 101, now @ 113
3. yesterday Relcap bought HOPFL @ 460, Today high as now is 482.. we can hold this for mini 10 days u can get good returns..

Plz try this..

UBS n Relcap funds are my confident MFs, if u hv any idea about this plz share here..

Rajesh

I had also tried some srips like 'Ram sarup Industries', 'Paramount Cables'
and in short term they gained +5% or so. This may be also be due to bullissness in the market. Some times these large fundmanagers swap/certian stocks between them ( as heard from a very senior investor). So one donot know if they are investing or swapping stocks. Even if they are investing, they will do so with Long term objective -- you cannot be buying all the stocks they will be investing? For that you should also have large capital!

Hi All ,
Also , if you see the data posted at http://www.bseindia.com/mktlive/mark...bulk_deals.asp ,
you will note that in most of the cases , the BUY and Sell is done by the sameclient , with 50 or 60 paise difference , on the same day .

Any thoughts
Regards

This strategy really works... I like it too....but make sure u will have good buyer of block deal like morgan stanely, Goldman Sachs etc. if u track their history of trading u will find that their picks got double & triple returns within less than a year...
u can wait for buying that after the block deal as sometimes it comes down then u can gather....u have to track the selling too...

e.g. Morgan had block deal of Vijay shanti builders @ 54 they sold it around 150.
Goldman sachs had a block deal of IVRCL Infra...etc...

Vivimed Labs -- this stock was bought by a FII yesterday (listed in BSE bulk deals). Expect a 5 to 10% gain on this scrip in a 10 to 15 days :-)
