one query,,sinec u are trdaing on 1 mn schedule basis,,,and today when mkt opened with gap ,then ob ,,ur system must have suggested sell,,,both in bharti /and nifty,,,,or sya ur stop loss must ahve been triggered,,,ok then it took time to come to yesterdays point,,,say as u said u sqyared ,,up in profit at about 1 pm,,, ridiculuos,!!!! why ,,because either ,,u were folowing ur system ,,,,for such along time,,and now u ,,were caught in good loss in the morning ,,so technically u did not exited in loss,,, i am confused clarify me ,,,,,but its true even i would have exited from my positin ,,technically /fundamentally ,,because in teh morning nifty was in oversold position,,, but i need some views why did u exit in the morning,,, as u had much eralier done in cipla..and yesterday in ,cesc... sorry for pointing u .... renu

Renu,
You are very right ,that is the reason why you dont hold over night positions.As i was holding over night position & as the US & Asian cue was (-)ve i mentally put a SL of 1% for both Nifty Fut & Bharti Fut which boils down to 45 points in Nifty Fut & Rs 8.40 for Bharti Fut,if Mkt opens below these prices i will book loss otherwise ,i will follow my system only. Though as per MM/RM policy i should wait for minimum more than 1% gain & trail with a SL both the positions but thought it safe to book 50% profit to put the SL now near Entry price & ensure no loss situation,you may have observed that is always my trading style. Rgarding 1min TF charts plz verify where did i get a Sell signal in my System ? Asish NB: In fact my sysyem gave all Buy from Morning. Last edited by uasish; 10th August 2008 at 11:46 PM.

Renu,
Plz verify Bhart Fut charts ,i should have sold Bharti Fut @ 840.00 at 11.43 which is a deviation,i sold at Rs 845.00 vecoz the 5mins TF didnot show a sell at 11.43 but afterwards,but only 50% becoz 15mins TF did'nt show sell then but signalled few mins back & sold that balance 50% in Rs 855.05.
