I am not competent enough to guide you.Softwares dont give Buy/Sell signals,there are some Black Box available which does but never tried it , heard those to be unreliable.
Pivot points & MA can also work on intraday,but things which work on EOD datas may always not work on Intraday. Before changing your Time-Frame (from a relatively successful one ) would be foolish ,until you paper trade in NEW time frame ,get the Feel , & then verify in lots of past datas until you get confident.All of us (including self) only understand this after getting bashed by Mkt,the Time-Frame giving us money indirectly builds a false feeling that switching to a lower time-frame will give me more money FAST. Hence my sincere suggestion Get Out from Intraday & move to EOD ( you have earned analysing on daily datas,revert to your wining state,very imp,becoz intraday bashing leaves all of us in shattered state),after you get to happy state plz start lots of paper trade back test it,allocate a sum from your wins for Intraday Loss ,when ready plunge again but limiting loss to that sum,do these process we will come out successful after few attempts. Plz dont misunderstand me ,i loose frequently dont get swayed away with a Good looking Chart,boss more in actual Execution & conviction than a flick Chart.

This is an Equity Curve for Intraday 5mins Long only,with 50k capital,NON
Leveraged.See how from 11th June the System was Happily performing & then from 27th July ,how this Long only System getting Bashed. Hence i would not post any Long in this Thread for Intraday,until the situation improves,how beautifully this System imitated Nifty,but this is a BAD System,becoz it should not have Traded Longs (many more development is necessary). Here also the Short only System's Equity Curve suffered initial ,but from 19th of June was happily performing till 30th June ,then there was huge drawdown ,but still managed to regain its Loss,this one is also good when the going was good,but why this traded on uncertain days.
However i may put some of my Short trades,here in this Thread. One thing is clear Shorts are more probable Win then Long. Last edited by uasish; 10th August 2008 at 11:46 PM.
