Bad CPI number means less inflationary pressure, and this eases the FED worries regarding inflation that might prevent them from further rate cuts. This usually gives a positive sign for the equity market, and the stocks start to rally, increasing the demand for the US dollar (to buy stocks), which usually strengthens U/J, and this will of course strengthens the beast (G/J) by pushing the value of the Yen down.

And we did have a bad cpi on friday.

Nothing will stop the fed from cutting on Tuesday. It's a toss between 75 and 100bps. 75bps has been priced in the system.

anujbhatia,

The attached Power Grid 60 mins has Trend Line points, which can work as Resistance & Support.
On the Upper pane you may find a Statistical inference drawn from the Database.Where the Last Red (1) is occurence of an expected Up-move,the Last but one Red (1) denotes the No of time it Failed to move Up in Past, inspite of giving an Up signal.
The total Up & Down signal in database is 10 times out of which Up signal was 5 times.
Hence till now the Failure rate is 1 in 5.

Asish

N.B. As Cash has more Data hence i used that than Future, hope you may derive the corresponding Future's Price.
