A system (in layman's term) is few set of Rules but tested robustly for all type of situation ,fine tuned ,retested,optimized ,retested.

Hence if our rules is OK & tested & giving Profit then everything is Ok.

Hello Karthick

Look at SAINTs thread for a post by him giving a template for trading plan. It's a detailed document, where you can note down all the things about how you trade, even if you are a discretionary trader you make buy sell decisions based on something, whatever it is. This would be a starting point. Having a documented plan, gives us a better way to review our trading decisions more objectively for consistently.

Don't know much about programmed & automated systems, uasish will be able to guide you on that.
