My queries on this are

1) How much min. money i need to block

2) How much wud be the risk ( i am aksing if i follow proper money mngmt. How much is the usual stop loss risk we shud carry with Futures. )

Thanks
Nitin
Dont venture to Leveraged Trading ( f&o) until you have a robust system in place.

1)Min. 3.25 Lacks + Max Drawdown (reflected in simmulations) + (Shock if working in EoD format);
2) It depends
a) on the Time-Frame you have selected & comfy
b)varies from System to System ,say
if you are working with a Break-Out System the SL is almost the bar's Low but in other Systems
it can be far from Entry
c) the historical volatility of the scrip & the mkt.

Thanks for ur kind advice...I am out from FnO for the time being..i was thinking of playing with not more than 30k poor me...for me margin trading is okay that too with strict stop loss in place. With my risk capacity..i got FnO is not for me...atleast for the time being...
Thanks again Ashish da...and

The enc. sheet(FOLLOW-UP to the earlier excel posted in this thread) tells you which indicator to use for the corresponding scrip and the supports can be taken a potential short targets.
Some where there was an argument about oscillators not being effective now it seems will be the right time for using them(since the ADX is looking flat to down).
However four things to be noted this week.
1.No carrying positions overnight.
2.Not going against the trend which is going short(except if you are an investor who can look to buy at the support levels).
3.Not going long till oscillators give buy signals.
4.Watching out for wed and thur where the stocks that have taken a massive hit will bounce due to derivatives roll-over.Could give good exits to people who have been caught going long.

Paper trade on Nifty Option call Strike price 4400 taken at 4135 with SL 4100. Sorry for intruding, since no calls want to try a paper trade.
