feel the duty cut will have minimal impact on domestic cement cos profits as there are a lot of logistical problems to import and distribution. But a positive cud be that large construction companies like Larsen could use this move to their advanatge and bring down their costs by importing cheaper cement as they dont have problems of logistics. keep watching as this duty cut is an interesting twist in the tale. remember when the government tried to armtwist the cement companies some time back? Feel we are in for a long and bitter battle. personally have a lot at stake in cement stocks holding GACL and ACC from 2003
