HI
Encouraged by the fact that 32% of the members on this board i thaught that this thread would be useful.we should give the reasons for our choice and why we hold the view that the stock will do very well in the long term i.e + 1 year.It need not be a large cap or a mid cap or even a small cap.The only retionale for investment is the future of the buisness prospects, the quality of the management, financials or any other thing that deserves to be noted.
.............. I start by recommending dabur pharma.today i have read that it has developed the technolodgy to administer cancer drugs through nanotechnolodgy route.we thaught of dabur pharma as the 'chawanprash' co only.on checking up i find that it has been silently working on allopathic side and NANOTECHNOLOGY of all the cutting edge technologies.it has acquired a foreign firm in this feild.
....................................Now nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionise the way we combat serious diseases.dabur pharma has a head and shoulder start over other companies working in this sphere-- to the best of my knowledge none. The co has got all the regulatory approvals and is launching the drug tommorow.:D

hi Bullet
I have read your post on ther link given by you.pharma is never going to be a sector that will sloooooow down.reason;more and more people will fall sicccccck as the population increasssses.besides that their is the outsourcing story and the CRAM's story.
.....What interests me the most is the discovery of NCE's by indian co's.solid money is in NCE's;outsourcing and cram's are good for bread and butter anyway. Here pharma MNC's have an edge and among the indian co's it is Dr Reddy to my mind. The guy who discovered viagra has made an indecent amount i am sure.Nanotechnology is the next great bet i am sure.just think of it the medicine going straight to your cell nucleus, minor robotic surgeries, even removal of plaque from your blocked arteries without surgery!!!!!!
LIKE IT?I DO AT THE AGE OF +50.

hi Gemseeker
I agree with suzlon and praj.have invested in both long back.Time to hold them and add on a 32.8% retracement or so_Otherwise they are too expensive.
Regarding IP I have seen that on the ground the management does not take much initiative ,although the potential is tremendous as it is a monoply.let us see the q3fy07 results as they have laid a lot of pipes for PNG underground, but have not attracted consumers to use PNG.The PNG connection entered my kitchen 6 months ago but no one followed up to use it!!!!!

Dear Kalyan
I am keenly tracking Moser Bayer as well.It has got technological edge for sure. The photo voltaic cell effort is in it's infancy all over the globe and the ratio of conversion of solar light energy to electricity is low. This makes it a little uneconomically viable. The nanotech route may hold something--let me discuss it with some expert or else i will mail the co.
The DVD initiative is good as the buisness of the co nearly got killed due to piracy.I remember how i managed to get out with a little profit in this co.
