Punter's Calls

Hi All,
This thread is for the benefit investor community @ traderji.Anyone who want's to make a BUY/SELL call on any of the stocks can do it so here in this thread.
The reasons for making calls should be based on two or more of the following(Let's not look at charts :-) for a change, we know that charts only indicate historical movements and like SENSEX there is no evidence that future should be as past movements for a stock )

P/E Ratio
Book Value
Quarterly Results
Performance of peer companies
YOY growth
Industry Outlook( Like steel prices are driven by global demand )
News inflows
Market Speculation

Traded only in BSE this stock cannot be categorized as a Penny stock.This IT company with registered office in Chennai has a brighter side to it in the coming year.Company also has offices in USA and Europe.

Company offers software services in the following

Media, Publishing and Education
Telecom and Wireless
Healthcare and Life Sciences
Manufacturing

Oulook looks brighter as company has sustained growth YOY.Current EPS of 0.52 should improve to at least 1.5 for the FY2006.

Positives

Half yearly EPS already stands at 1.11 So EPS on the yearly earnings should be more than 1.5 at least(Unless company makes losses in the second half of 2006)
Current P/E ratio of around 23 which is reasonable for IT companies.
Market capital of 311.95crs which by no means is in Penny stocks category
Historically stock had touched 3500Rs on 09/05/2000. So CMP is slightly above it's year low of 6.60Rs

Negatives

Highly speculative & volatile stock.
Had liquidity crunch but recently volumes have picked up.
Company has so far not announced dividents.

OK.Now to the big question...After +ves and -ves should I invest in this stock?

Yes.But I would wait for a dip.I shall enter this stock @ 10.5 levels.It is upto you to make a call now on your stratergy :-)

Mascon Global is a fraud stock counter operated by manipulators exclusively. It is owned by Chandra s/o Great VK - V Krishnamurthy of SAIL and Maruthi fame. It is based at Chennai with HQ at Chicago doing lot of contracts of high visibility but the central theme of this corporation for last 20 years have been make money for promoters and skip the investors....just rotating money across the globe and ruin the small and medium investors. Otherwise started with great connections and ideas but of no value to investor community.

Hi Rajendra,
It is very difficult to predict the intentions of management of most of the companies.My call was purely given on the basis of YOY growth and the CMP and this years results.In fact I do not take into consideration behaviour of people on board.

If this is the case there are thousands of listed companies who do not look at investor interests.However considering the performance of company the value it holds I felt it is a pretty good call.

If Mascon's CMP were more than 30Rs I would not have recommonded, however it has enough steam to go upto 30Rs that is based on the assumption of a EPS of at least 1.5 at which P/E ratio works out to be about 20(which is still less than it's current P/E ratio)
