Aree 14.72 hoga :lol::lol:
I was running it on stock screener. I've confirmed in 3-4 different sources.
Check google chart etc, its 1472
I've been scratching my head.
Anyway, there are so many stocks with PE Ratios above 100 as well.
For mkt Caps above 20k Cr,
we've got
HDFCBANK 185
MRF 178
TVS 171
M&M 170
H unilever 123
and many more...

EDIT: Added mkt Caps of 20k CR

Hi,

I have few questions regarding this smallcase website..

1. Can we create a smallcase portfolio and make it public so that others can follow ?

Means, this traderji hedgefund will be listed in smallcase website and everyone can follow it there?

2. Can we create a smallcase portfolio which includes futures or options for hedging purpose?

or smallcase just for equities, no provisions for hedging and limiting drawdowns?

Lets discuss sector by Sector
We need to have 1 or max 2 from a sector
BANKS
This section include all banks.
so far suggestions in the thread are

YESBANK
RBLBANK
HDFCBANK
KOTAKBANK
We can consider a PSU bank as well, that space has potential to jump if the NPA's etc is resolved.
Albeit 60% weightage in PSU index is SBI.

The consensus full year EPS estimate for Tata Comm (ref google finance) is between 10-20. Thus PE is 35-70.

The EPS values given in google finance are based on trailing 4 quarter numbers and it includes an exceptional loss in Mar-2016 quarter. Thus an EPS of 0.49.

Best to download Annual reports to calculate full year EPS or go through the moneycontrol website for Quarterly comparison.

Hi,

No they don't have this feature yet.

Means, this traderji hedgefund will be listed in smallcase website and everyone can follow it there?

No.

2. Can we create a smallcase portfolio which includes futures or options for hedging purpose?

That would be too complex
Lets focus on Equity funds. we traders have tendency to bring trading into investing lets keep them separate

or smallcase just for equities, no provisions for hedging and limiting drawdowns?

No hedging but you can reblance /remove/add stocks as you need.

HI ALL,

Based on this thread I researched how to select scrips and when to enter.
Started following below method:.

1. Searched which particular stocks bought by MF in March in Particular and Jan to Feb quarter whole. They are bought only scrips not Sell by 1 Fund House and Bought by another.

2. Selected Few MF schemes whose Investment I want mirror in coming days.

3. Horizon of stay invested is 30%+ return in 3-5 years.

Among the Selected Few bought Following today:
Somani Ceramic, Kajaria Ceramic & Karur Vyas Bank.
Total Invested today is 10K. Target to invest is 100K in next 4-5 months.

Next on Radar : Dr.Lal Path lab & Manpasand Beverage.

Next thing to understand: how to decide Weightage of particular scrip in portfolio.

Please share your thoughts.

Regards,

I am very much interested but didn't get time to analyze smallcase fully.
What I understand its a theme based cases with 10-11 stocks.
But didn't get the concept.
By looking there some top cases returns are very appreciable :)
