hi savantgarde - buddy my DLF stocks are getting hammered - down from 700 to 470 - over 3L invested (all eggs in one basket) - request you to give your readings - fundametally, technically, common sensically - holding time is not a problem - just need a projection of possible time and earnings - appreciate your time and advise - regards - toyotomi hideyoshi.

Hi Rams,

It Is Time To Start Value Picking & As Good A Time As Any To Start Deploying Some Money For Investors With 6-12 Month Time Frame
Will Post More On The Value Picks.
In The Meantime Keep An Eye On MTNL Can Be Picked On Dips, Doesn't Seem To Have Much Downside From Where It Is, In All Probability May Not Break The 52 Week Low Of 91

Hi TOHIDE,

Well As Far As Your DLF Entry Is Considered, It Is Suggested Don't Watch The Price Movement On A Day To Day Basis Cause It Can Give Real Heart Burn & Sleepless Nights, You Should Be Able To See Your Entry Price By September.

Thanks Mr.Savant for your valuable suggestion, yes i keep tracking your replies on value picks, as you suggested will pick MNTL but need to know, can i hold this scrip (If i picked on lower dips) on shorter or longer term??

And also one more thing i would like to share this point of time is got a huge hit on JP Associates, Polaris Software, union bank and Leela hotel, can you kindly suggest is these scrips will come up once market stabilize?? heard that there is a chances of touching sensex 12000 points in next couple of months is this true??, am in panic... of further picks..
Desperately waiting for your reply on this so that i can have sound sleep to night.
Kindly share your views and thoughts. Eager to learn from your reply...
Once again thanks and regards..
Rams

Hi Rams,

Yes You Can Hold MTNL For 6-12 Months Once It Has Moved Above 132 Remind Me To Review The Price At That Time.

All Others Mentioned By You Hold & Don't Panic, Among Those If You Get A Little Profit In POLARIS I Suggest Exit The Stock, Banks In Your Holding Will Take Time, Alomost 12-15 Months.

Another Value Pick Is DLF To Be Picked Between 452-460
Mercator Lines (MLL) Between 102-104

Guys,

I Personally Don't See The Market Going Down Below 13680 As Opposed To Various Views Of 12000, Pitfall Of Predicting Such Figures As 12000 Is That Many Investors May Just Wait & Wait For 12000 & Be Left Empty Handed If They Have Not Invested Earlier.
There Are Many Scrips Having Been Beaten Down So Badly That Their Current Prices Are Almost As If The Index Is At 12000
It Is Once Again Suggested To Start Deploying Some Part Of Your Available Capital In Good Companies On Every 3% Market Dip.

Hi NeoMusn'tDie,

Welcome Back My Friend...
I Hope You Had A Good Holiday, Was Good Time To Have Been Away From The Markets.
Now Coming To REL, It's A Good Buy & Now Look To Exit 10 @ 1330
10 @ 1420 & 10 @ 1560
Once You Have Exited 30 Shares Let Me Know & Will Review It Then.
There Are Quite Many Scrips Where Good Value Is Emerging...So Keep A Close Eye, Market Is Almost Bottoming Out.
You Will Find Extreme Tussle Between Bulls & Bears...Especially Yesterday Was One Such Day...Looks Like The Final Battle Is Being Played Out.

@SavantGarde : thanks for your valuable inputs.... good to know that rel energy buy price was appropriate..... Market is bottoming out... but don't know when it reaches the bottom point....

i wanted to learn the saint's tutorial for technicals but my work does not gives me any time for learning them or looking at the markets... i can only peek once twice a week at the markets....

Also weak global economy.. and the fact that the mad bull run was mostly sponsor by the FIIs which have hit losses.... really puts doubt in ascertaining the levels....

keep your valuable feedback coming for the forum members... Will take the advice and update once the stoc hit those prices.... thanks
