Hi Savant,

Kindly help me understand.

For example :
EDUCOMP 4094.60 BUY 3927.35 3964.75

Does this means that i can buy EDUCOMP at 4094 which is the cmp ?
Actually i am confused, that when the market will open on tuesday,
the price if EDUCOMP would either be above or below 4094,
so shall i buy at any price or should i wait for 4094 ?

Kindly also guide that what does this mean
"Triggered SELL On 07/05/2008 @ 215.20" for RPL ?
Does this mean that i can short RPL, when the market opens
on tuesday? or it has already gone down from 215 to 187.

Sorry to disturb you again & again.
But i really need your guidance to understand this.

Awaiting your response,

Thanks & regards,
Optionstrader

Nah I dont think that the ADRs and GDRs have any affect on the stock next trading day.One should look at chart again and again rather that ADR and GDR.
Just my two Cent !

Thanks,
Ankit

Guys, ARMHM & Ankit

It Is Only Sometimes That ADRs & GDRs Makes Sense
Like For Instance Our Market Closes Earlier & Some Bad News Relating To Profits or Suits or Etc. Might Become Available After Market Hours, As A Result ADRs & GDRs Whatever The Case Maybe Will Probably Get Hammered.
There Is No Harm, Neither Does It Cost Money To Keep A Cursory Eye On It...Especially If You Have A Position In The Said Scrip.

I Personally Watch The U.S. Markets Till They Close & Early Morning I Also Watch The Far East Markets.....& All The News Gathered In The Meantime After Our Market Closes & Starts The Next Day...Is Helpful...& Sure Shot To Get You Divorced or Dumped By Your Girlfriend.....
For Me It Has Become A Habit......So I Manage....But It Is Difficult When My Girlfriend Is Down In Bombay

No Amount Watching What Is Happening Around The World Will Ever Be Useless.....You All Will Get The Hang Of It.....As To How A Particular News Might If Any Affect Our Markets or A Scrip...or A Sector For That Matter.

Take One Day At A Time But Remain As Inquisitive & Interested As Ever...You Will All Do Very Well In Life.

There Is An Equation To How Fast You Learn Is Entirely Dependent On How Interested You Are In Knowing The Workings.

Guess.....I Have Lectured Enough

Happy & Safe Trading

Hi Optionstrader,

EDUCOMP You Buy When The Market Opens....But There Is A Bit Of Getting Used To How To Take A Fresh Position.
Let's Assume Market Opens With A Gap Up....And EDUCOMP Is Up 3 or 5% You Then Wait To See If It Tries To Close The Gap.....You Take A Position At A Point When It Is Trying To Close The Intraday Gap....

Now If The Market Opens Gap Down (Meaning Maybe About 70-80 Points On The Sensex & There Is No Real Bad News For The Gap Down....Then You Take A Position At Gap Down....

Now..Let us Take Another Instance Where The Market Gaps Down By 300-400 Points.....You Will Not Take Any Position In That Case...Irrespective Of My Triggers Posted On The Previous Day.

EDUCOMP, SUZLON, RPL & ZEEL Are Fresh Triggers That Have Been Generated Today & They Will Start Looking Same As CIPLA or Any Other Previous That Have Been Updated, On Tuesday Evening All Fresh Triggers Of Today Will Start Looking Like CIPLA Indicating When The Trigger Happened & At What Rate.

By The Way 215.20 Is Not RPL It Is CIPLA
When One Gets A Fresh SELL Trigger, You Can Take Couple Of Actions One Go Ahead Short Future or SELL The Stock If Are Holding It, Or Now With New SLB (Stock Lending & Borrowing) In Place You Can Even Short It For A Week.

If Shorting The Stock Under SLB Please Do Some Homework On What Your Total Impact Cost For Borrowing Would Be. You Can Only Short Sell Stocks That Are There In Dervatives As Well

Happy & Safe Trading

Hi Anju,

You Should Be Able To See It Down In The Next Trading Session Which Happens To Be Tuesday......By Friday You Should Be IN THE MONEY
Lets See What Happens On Tuesday.

Something To Remember Always Short The Weak Sector or Scrip & Long The Strength or Favoured Sector & Any Play In Options Should Be Exited By 20th or Latest By 21st Of The Month.

Here Is Hoping Your Position Becomes ITM By Friday

All The Best

Happy & Safe Trading

Hello SavantGarde,

I am a regularly following your thread. Highly appreciating work!!!!

I feel like taking position in various scrips.
Due to other job ,only in morning , I observe market for one hr.And after job spend atleast 3-4 four hours reading, analyzing, learning..

I am trading for almost 1.5 yrs now, but for the last four months only I am able to make some bucks in following scrip..

Cairn…B@232-S@251,B@265-S@280,B@281.90-S@295/300.Still holding some .Have plans to sell @310-320.

Bought SESAGOA@3455-Holding it for 3-4 months..Target is 4900... (Further 3 mnths target).

To be frank only this much is the consistent profits of mine in last 4 months...I deal in Cash. I request advice for Futures. Looking at your thread I always feel encouraged for jumping in Futures with your recommendation. I have no knowledge of Futures.

Due to financial obligation/condition, have to compulsory stick with job for sure shot monthly income. But I am highly interested in Trading and want to switch to Full Time trading AS SOON AS POSSIBLE .But to get to that level I have to manage both (Job and trading) till I am able to get good hold in trading.

I try to stick with stocks for Ascending Triangle, Weekly-Monthly up Trends stocks and then enter it.

Kindly show me the path for futures. Initially I had planned to buy 1 lot and take risk in CAIRN futures could have made good money in it. But didn’t dare in futures.

Kindly guide how to get started…Very much required for me at this stage.

Do you have any plans to personally teach/guide in Mumbai? I would be very much interested .I am from Pune and would be able to attend anytime.

Sorry for such a lengthy write-up. Kindly guide …

Thanking You,
Raju
