Good evening. Does anyone have recent news from Glenmark R&D? A friend of mine working for them told me that Eli Lilly is about to terminate its license agreement on the 6211 molecule. During a meeting in June, Lilly have pointed out issues on cardiovacular safety and CYP inhibition (CYP is an enzyme which takes part in the metabolisation of drugs). As a failure on these two criteria can lead to the termination of the agreement, Glenmark expects Lilly to raise the issue in the coming days.
I don't see anything about it on the internet, are they hiding this information? After the failure with Merck on Melogliptin (GRC-8200), this would be a disaster.
As 6211 and 8200 can be valued at 150 Rs together, I think a 450-500 Rs price would be more accurate than the current 700-800 targets, which seems to me very expensive.
As my friend is very reliable, I sold my stocks. What are you thoughts?

Hi Anju,

Good To Hear From You....Anyways, You Are Most Welcome To Ask As Often As You Want, Only Thing I Have Not Been Very Regular With My Postings.
Please Bear With Me On This For A Longisshhh Answer....

There Is A Good Chance You May Recover From This...Anyways If With Any Trouble Even If You See It Come Down Around 2000 Cover Atleast Half Of Your Shorts....& At The Point Of Around 2000 The CALL Strike of 2100 Should Be Around Rs.20-30, Would Suggest Buying A Few Calls To Protect Your Short Futures Position....CALL Buying Strategy Is Only Before 21st Of This Month & Not Later.
Another Way To Make Sure Profit From This Would Be To Trade This Safely For 15-20 Points During The Day, Provided You Can Get A Good Hang Of The Range....During The Day.

Considering DOW Has Taken A Tumble Of 200+ Points Thursday & Friday May Prove Profitable For You.

If You Have Any Doubts Understanding What I Have Outlined, Let Me Know, Will Clarify The Same Again.

Hi Shail,

I Think CBOP Is Already Ex-Date, Anyways Would Not Suggest Averaging

RAJESHEXP - Would Advise Averaging In Small Quantities Below 50, Infact If It Does Come To 50 Just Remind Me Will Review It Then As To What Action Can Be Taken.
