Hi all,

Only turning below 59.20 will turn current phase of +ve momentum into -ve one but crude is likely to be range bound than on bull run as hedge funds focusing to cost avg their losses on equities they dont have time to trade crude and hedge inflation using gold and all now US CPI still didnt turned upside down LOL thats they ppls says trading is a moral gambling which we shud agree

FUNDS decide the market direction neither fundamentals nor techincals in some sense

Hello,
I am Olusola Luke.
I want to inquire from your company of the following information.
Can your company buy crude oil from Nigeria?
I represent a company that sells crude oil to local buyers here but needing to expand our business we need foreign customers that can load crude oil directly from the shores of Nigeria.

We have millions of barrels of crude oil for sale at affordable and reasonable price(the cheapest price you can get anywhere in the world) below brent/light crude Oil present price.mostly below $55 per barrel.

You need not do anything on this other than contact me when we come to an understanding; you come to Nigeria or send your agents. You bring down your ship and load and pay after loading. This business does not require you to pay anything till services and goods have been delivered to you.
When I hear from you we can conclude on the modalities.
Thanks
Olusola Luke

Has crude (NYMEX) made a double-top by any chance?

I don't have the charts & don't trade commodities but recently crude had reached a level very close to it's earlier highs and then started falling. Last night it seemed to have broken some important support lvl (possibly around $73).
All this is guesswork off-course as i neither have the charts nor follow prices closely. So requesting a clarification from members who do.

Regards,
Kalyan.

The is some swing support seen on crude but in my views funds decide crude direction than real fundamentals most of time

Thanks for the chart Mr Amarnath. (Strong support it seems at the 38.2 level marked which is the 61.8 retr lvl of last upmove) Fundamentally crude should come down, but here i was seeking the Technical view.

As for funds, quite a few of them are in a spot of bother with US sub-prime and i think many of these HFs have large exposure to Commodities including crude. So maybe some unwinding. Good for Equities, which is why it interests me

Regards,
Kalyan.

Hi Kalyan,
Attached herewith is the chart of MCX crude near month contract. You will be surprised to find that crude is no where nearer July 2006 Highs. As I do not have data prior to this period, I am unable to provide the longer term chart.

Why crude did not reach anywhere near its July 2006 highs? Rupees appriciated against the U. S. dollar. Please see the chart.
Thanks and regards
R. S. Iyer
