need help to download eod from nse
hi can any one help me to get the query after .jsp? to download eod data for specific stocks from nse.
to get the url pls go to http://www.nseindia.com/content/equi...oricaldata.htm then select Security-wise Price Volume Data it will take u to url http://www.nseindia.com/content/equi...iphistdata.htm after filling all fields u 'll reach to page http://www.nseindia.com/marketinfo/e.../histscrip.jsp at bottom u 'll get link download file in csv now if u try to download that file without opening this jsp ur explorer 'll show page cannot be found. can any one tell me how to download that file without going through that jsp

to get data the way you wanted is to execute the links in sequence.
http://www.nseindia.com/marketinfo/e...2006&check=new http://www.nseindia.com/content/equi...2006BHELEQ.csv the second link cannot be accessed directly because of the use of "Referer" tag. i havent checked further if it can be done using a single link.
