Hi again.

Thanks for the reply. But it does not solve my problem. My problem is that except "Download data from NSE & BSE" button, no other button in the CEM Panel works. I click on any other button like Import data or Convert Data and simply nothing happens.

Please try after reinstalling the software or if your OS is WinXP, then download update from - http://www.traderji.com/60637-post26.html or http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/grou...EM_EODv2.1.zip

My os is winXP.I have downloaded cem_EOD v2.1.I find only download function is working.Rest of the commands are not working.I tried to install the full setup I go the error msg regarding some shdocvw.dll file bieng in use and will be overwritten.Should I allow it to be overwritten ? What other msgs I might get and should be response to them.Pls advice.

My problem is just similar to rpc's. even with v2.1.1 only download function works. No other function works.

Hello rpc & vivaswan,

I really cant understand that some 'commands' are not working. It may happen that you may get any error message.

Anyway, download only http://www.traderji.com/attachments/...em_eodv2.1.zip for WinXP. Zip contains 3 files, unzip all files in any folder. All files should be in one folder.

I have downloaded what you have mentioned.I find only the first option regarding download works but options 2 & 3 do not produce any error msg option 4 gives Error no 76 , Path not found Option 5 again gives no response.Option 6 gives msg under development.
One request are you planning to introduce downloading of BSE & NSE indices also ? When ?

I am waiting for new update for BSE data downloader/conversion as in present software bse file is not having date column which is useless for Amibroker. Moreover lots of stocks are listed on BSE instead of NSE.
So pl. look into the matter & give us a new year gift.

Hi cemcompusoft,
Firstly thanks a lot for spending time off and making things easy for all of us.
I have been using cemcompusoft software for the last couple of months to get nse eod data for amibroker. I have been using it with both win98 and xp.
Today, while trying to access data for a couple of scripts, I found that the software gives an error popup screen while encountering dates in 2007.Noticed the same error in eod data downloader and data converter.
Hope you can set this right
