Nse eod to metastock
hello everyone
I want to now tha data which wee download from nse site how to convert it to metastock. any way imhave the software which helps for downloading and converting tha data to metastock but i want to now the behvcopy which dowlonad from NSEINDAI how to convert it to metastock. i am tryied it but anble to do so. seniors Any help ? Ali

hi
my frioend that process works with his software only. i am talking about, i download data from NSE without any software the behavcopy and how to convert that behavecopy to metastock ? this is what i want to now please any help from membera? Ali

Hi Mdrali,
Download Hemen's "Get bhav copy". It is very small,simple and perfect to download bhavcopy from NSE within 2-3 minutes. Create one folder where you will store downloaded daily bhavcopies. Open MS downloader and goto convert. SOURCE:- ASCII TEXT, Your created folder, downloaded bhavcopy. DESTINATION:-METASTOCK,Directort in metastock to keep MS format data. Now select options. Keep uncheck "traverse source folder". Rest are self explanatory. Now click destination:= Check "replace matching dates", "Include open and open interest", "create new files". press ok's and enjoy. BASUDEO

hi every one,
i want to know how to convert the nse behavecopy directly to metastock. i am using the soft wares which are available here in traderji, but one of my freind is using the amibrokar who is able to convert the behavecopy of nse to amibrokar but when i tryied to convert nse behavecopy to metastock i wasnt able to do so. i want to now how to convert the nse behave copy to metastock is it possible or not and if some day the soft ware start giving proble then what should wee do ? Ali
