If you please search "Data Feeds > End of Day" section there are several posts regarding MS historical data dump (equity series only). And those are split/bonus adjusted, i guess. NSE keep stock data as is, i.e not split & bonus adjusted form. So, we have to manually adjust split/bonus or rename.

P.S. I have downloaded all NSE futures data (since 2000) using my own utility.

Hi
I downloaded the bhav copy from nse.com and modified as you instructed
Here is a screen shot of my option 4000 put modification

now i saved that file, n import that txt file in to fchart, but what i am getting is like this

where i am getting wrong ?

p.s. if this works my idea is creating same file for open interest put call ratio for nifty.Everybodys help is appreciated

Alex,

Why are you getting just one candle or is it monthly chart? MS supports date format as yyyymmdd, not sure abt fchart. Also, AFAIK... daily PCR is a simple formula like..

PCR = number of traded put options/number of traded call options

And you want to plot this PCR?

Thats the problem, i also dont know why i m getting one candle.its a daily chart, do u think i am writing wrong date format ? Yes fchart has a same date format as metastock ( in fact ur utility i am using for fchart without any changes,threads name should be meta stock & fchart

Eh i want to plot pcr, we can calculate pcr by downloading all put and option data from nse in excel/ or ready to use available data of pcr from brokerage sites.

found the error .. i wrot date format incorrectly, as u said it must be yyyymmdd

So far you can only download NSE Stocks, Futures , some indices like Sensex and cnx nifty, nifty fut, mini and some sectorial indices. All major BSE stocks listed in NSE. I'm bit preoccupied right now, but I'll definitely provide some more updates in future.

There are several posting on latest MetaStock database dump with split & bonus adjusted. The last major one was L&T and Areva T&D that I track. Check NSE announcement at least once a week.
