Question EOD Data Provider

Hi, I know there are many threads regarding this topic but they all are old, not highlighting the recent developments in this space.

Can any one please tell me a RELIABLE data services provider ? I am currently using Soubhagya www.soubhagya.biz and they SUCK major major time. They update their platforms every now and then.. which means reloading data.etc. I paid them 2500 for NSE + BSE + MCX + NCDEX + International data and was promised crisp data, but... Dec they changed their data downloader which is highly unstable still and they provided me with NSE + MCX saying BSE would take some time.. it is 2.5 months and there are no signs of BSE data moreover MCX data is not updating, it screws up all my charts.etc. I am fed up of them, and then I also took their 5 min delayed IEOD services and promised them Rs.500.. but then I realized what the hell why should I pay them, instead they have cheated me like anything first promised BSE which I am not getting at all, then MCX is all scerewed up, and the 5 mins charts are so damn ugly and for some of them data doesnt download at all, multliple files for the same symbols everyday. TRUST ME IF YOU GO WITH SOUBHAGYA.. I THINK DONATE OR BURN THAT MONEY.. these guys are no good... BIG PROMISES WHEN THEY WANT THE MONEY but they are 0 while delivering... I have updated my stocks data twice and as a result all my charts went away.. and I am still left with half of my subscription.. but I HATE THEM LIKE ANYTHING.. No offence soubhagya guys, sorry I cant take this anymore now, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and I have had too much of you lame excuses.

IS THERE ANY SERVICE PROVIDER WHICH GIVES GOOD QUALITY DATA & IS RELIABLE.. I WANT DATA FOR BOTH IEOD AND EOD at an interval of 5 mins for NSE + BSE + MCX + NCDEX + Forex + International Indices

can't go with Equis or Viratech i dont have that much budget.. something mid way...

Hello,

Great forum this is . i dunno how i missed this as a just another forum.

Which product u r using from them? I was using indian-investor.com EOD intially and now have purchased Annual RT with NIfty 7 yrs ieod.

I never had a problem with their data downlaod. They have a Ready To Use Database. U should downlaod That and once u import that,in 2 mins flat u have complete database of All NSE Cash For all those years and FNO EOD downloaded in same.My daily database uploading takes hardly 1 min.and many a times i am travelling and update after 10 days but i can downlaod all 10 days one shot.

I think u r using Indian server.U ask their cusomer support to put you to US server.By default, they always put you on all local servers of indiatimes and sify and both are "God Save me".I am a newbie but being a SAP IT girl i understand about these servers.

DO u have a group where i can discuss about amibroker Indicators? i am making sum indicators by mixing many of the commonly used indicators and running backtest with 7 yyears ieod data i got from them. i need to discuss with old traders regarding my findings? any body there? i have access to powerful systems which can run and get optimised variables for indicatos but have little trading knoweldge to use that intraday data.

Any of your who is interested.pls buzz me.
Thanks!

Hello,
So nobody free for actual technical Discussion

I dunno how u faced RT problem. ask their customer support. They r excellent.they repond very fast and shall put trace on ur downloading and can check if u r getting data or not from their server.

I find its very cool given the complexity of server and coding required to accomplish that.

After paying 87 usd per month to equis for just 200 stocks, i really Like indian-investor.com. i searched net for nifty intraday data for 1 month and couldnt find. i mean isnt it so surprising that people are selling current data without OLD data. how will one decide what position to take in market untill we have old historical data?

Or May be i am not such a "On the SPot '' trader. i like to confirm if my trading system is working before jumping in.

IF any one finds any amibroker indicator discussion forum, pls let me know.

chio!!

the problem is connecting to net and viewing chart by chart is time consuming...do they offer any thing like download and import to view offline..ieod to amibroker. ...once ieod is imported daily we get to see all time frames

please let me know..

Hi suba,
i use offline eod mode only. i download the ready datbase and use it offline.
why dont take a proper demo.its free anyway.but yes in demo u wnt get to import the full eod database.but u can see the speed of retreival. who gets data from nse starting till today in less than a second. its amazing and
see the RT speed man.excellent. indian-investor.com rules.

do u play intraday? i am plannign to start a ***** grp so tt we intraday players can exchange our intraday targets and keep each other informed for market news.just business.
