Nifty EOD data till date ??
Hey friends, i downloaded EOD data of Nifty from 1990 to 2008 from the nse website.
I downloaded it in .csv format. Now, how to load it in MetaStock ? I tried using MetaStock downloader, but it doesn't convert .csv files. I converted it to text format, and tried to convert using metastock downloader, but still the downloader gives errors. Plz help !

Hi,
You can use free Getbhavcopy utility that downloads EOD data from NSE server in Metastock format which can be readily imported into Metastock. Check out Getbhavcopy, free NSE Data downloader (Historical and EOD). Also please read the help file first at Getbhavcopy , free NSE historical and EOD data downloader help files -Hemen.

Thanx for replying Hemen,
I tried this getbhavcopy software, but i need NSE Nifty Index EOD data from early 1990 to date. When i download using this copy of yours, along with nifty, i get all the other shares also, which i already have. I want only the Index Nifty values in MetaStock format.

Hi,
I need Nifty EOD from 2000 onwards till date with volumes. I believe NSE and ***** data does not include volumes. Where else can one get the data with volumes?? Can anyone help me get this data. Any help will be highlt appreciated. SKH.
