EOD NSE DATA from early 1990s to 23 Feb 2008

I have downloaded NSE data from early 1990s to 23rd Feb 2008 and have compile it in the series of 10 text files. Use convert option in Metastock Downloader to get started with.

Just pay me 1000 bucks for the password....

just kidding... password is my user name : neomustdie

Say thanks if you like the effort (after all it took me around 2 hours to downlaod the data and then compile in text files) ..... sorry for the files are in 5 parts of 6 mb each..... my net connection sucks... can get it uploaded in one shot... u would need hjsplit to unsplit it....

For newbies :
1. Download all links
2. unzip hjsplit
3. use hjsplit -> join option to join the other 5 files into one rar file
4. use winrar to unrar it... password neomustdie
5. open metastock download -> go to convert option and give this file as input and output the data in metastock format ready for your charting needs
6. It takes 2-3 hours to transfer into metastock format.
7. It will show warning, just ignore them

Please note i have not yet tested the data for correctness. So don't blame me.

Mod note : Both data are freely available and given for people with limited or slow connections. I case this post violates any rules, do tell. Although i don't think it does.

Hi J,
That was indeed an great hard work..Was eager to get the data.
I have started beleiving ..Just search and u will find good people everywhere...U'r self,Sillu_M,Saint,Jai...
Can i use the same with fibotrader..I dunno much of any of TA s/w ..Just exploring FIBO..

hi raju,

i just used the downloader and compile the stuff.... just to save your 2-3 hours.... i have not used fibotrader..... so dont know about it.... if you could show me the sample input file then i can try to make it in same format when have time.....

As far as help is concern, in stockmarket world i am still a newbie... i help as and when i can..... still a long way to go......

failed to join/extract files w/ hjsplit on Vista

succeeded w/ 7-zip <http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z457.msi>

it is probably easier to use than hjsplit
