Developing a software to fetch relatime data from google

Hello seniors, and gurus,

I am new to trading. Basically i am software professional. I have seen many people who made a softwares from vb, to passthrough the stock quotes, to other ta softwares, like amibroker,metastock.They All are wanted to charge on it in future . But i want to develop a software for fetching the data from google finance to amibroker for free . Please contribute in this, to how to initiate the work.

How about developing live data in to excel? Excel can then give trading signals as per our requirement.

Thats what i am looking for, Let me know if you manage to fetch RT data from google.com

The fundamental question is:

Which sites are offering RT data, without any delay?

If we are clear about it, then we can find a guy who
can do something to extract the data?

Are there FREE RT data providers? RT should be really RT.

Dear murthyavr, for nse stocks, google,yahoo providing rt data. But for bse stocks, it is delayed by 15 mts. Yahoo is providing real time data in csv format for free. I have that link for fetchin from yahoo. but waiting for google rt data fetching link.


Yes, it will be fine in developing excel sheet for rt data. but i want to creat a s/w tool for fetching rt data into amibroker.

If i get any clue abt the url pattern of google, i will try to fetch from excel sheet.

provide the link for Yahoo data (RealTime) in the meantime?

Is Google having any finance page for indian stocks/quotes?

Sorry for responding so late.

i am not sure, but I have read somewhere that, google finance live quotes are extractable for US and a few other countries only, not for NSE.

One alternative is to fetch from yah00.

And why limit output to Amibroker only, may be other TA software also can use them, on a bit of generalization.

As far as I found, none of these Google or Yahoo or yah00 etc provides RT data. They are all delayed data. I verified by watching thru my developed application and compared with bse/nse.

However I found one source of possible RT data thru BSE chart site.
I am trying to convert into usefull source so that we can feed it to Amibroker or Metastock.

Please note that I am not using any of these software, instead I developed my own charting software similar to Phophet.net.

you get Real time data from yahoo only if you are logged in.
