Hi prestonmyers2

Thanks for your new modified down loader.if you give the option in txt is best.i think metastock doesn't have option for converting csv file.

so if the program convert the file in to txt format is very useful to all.

Thanks and regards
Ramesh

Hello Raju,
CSV format is actually a simple text file with values seperated by commas and the file extension is 'csv' which means 'Comma Seperated Values' I can change the Extn from CSV to TXT if that helps its no problem, but I'm sure that MS can import csv files as csv files are so common.
ERgards,
Preston Myers.

Hello Friends,
I was thinking that it would be nice to know what formats are commonly used and to change the bhavcopy to those formats, for instance - FCharts, Metastock ect. If I had the formats used I could incorporate it into NSEDownloader.

Preston Myers

I have tried using csv file.It is not getting converted. If I try .txt it works. So .txt seems to be some default option and easier one.If u could goin with .txt it would help a lot.

Hello Raju,
You need to select the 'To' and 'FROM' dates in the date picker and select 'Download For Selected Period' checkbox to get Historical data for period selected otherwise you will only get the 'FROM' dates data.
I am uploading one more version with added download features namely historical yield/pe/div values for indices.

PReston Myers
