Dear Joy Da.
are you doing any project on nse or bse realtime backfill data and realtime price upgrade to amibroker or metastock from nse of bse servers? if not that is a huge oppertunity in it. as people easily paid Rs. 6000-7000 for one time or Rs. 750/ month onwords for subscription for realtime data update from ***** server to amibroker or metastock. Yet in that softwares there is no facility to backfill the past data, Means if you miss the period of like 1 hour in between or start some time after market or in between your net connection disconnects, you can not get that periods data afterwords.

I would like to tell you that i have methods to get the REAL TIME NSE BACKFILL, REAL TIME BSE BACKFILL, BSE REALTIME CURRENT, REAL TIME ***** BACKFILL data. if you incorporate this features to your software or develop new one with these features youre the first player of its kind who have these facilities in its software and this puts you ahead in the race. If you would like to develop and market the software i would like to share the data retrival methods for sharing basis.

I again would like to note down that this is a high volume, very high profit business.

Thanking You,

PIYUSH PATEL.

hi piyush,
i am not a programmer by profession and till date i have no plans to commercialise my programming skills. whatever i developed till date is free to use.

secondly, all realtime vendors like esignal, iris, nexus, trendrider etc do have backfill (not only for the day but for months). applications which fetches data from *****, like hyperserver etc do not have backfill. but then they are software vendors rather than data vendors, and are usually available with an one-time payment.

cheers,
jdm.

Dear Joy,

Thanks for the application. I have tried it to download the data and imported into Amibroker. Downloaded data has <per> after the <ticker> which needs to be skipped. Hence autoupdate into Ami cannot be done. Is it required for other software like Metastock and FChart.

Helal has shown how Rt data can be downloaded from ***** using amiquote in the thread

http://www.traderji.com/data-feeds/1...-amiroker.html

I have tried it Only problem is the time diffrence is still half an hour.

My suggestion is if RTdata can be down loaded thru Amiquote You can probably modify your application to back fill thru Amiquote. By using the TLS (ticker list) or using the database tickers and the data can be automatically imported in the data base. I am sure this will help in your project RT and Back fill.

Thanks again for your application
Regards
Ken

Yes Joyda an auto backfill could have worked wonders. I have seen it even during market hrs. Say if u start this app at 1 oclock the data from 9:54 to 1, also can be seen in the text file. So in case we miss the data due to any reason we can at once backfill.

Hope im not askin much.

Thanks again

Dear Joy Da,
ya this method to backfill is greate help for software venders, as they target the customers who dont afford the real time data venders like esignal etc. which is cost in thousands per month.
again to say that this methods include the download the backfill data from the very reliable servers like bse and nse servers, rather then unreliable ***** servers.
hope you understand my point.
and congretulations for your backfill application....as it rocks......
Thankin You,
PIYUSH PATEL.

I saved the files and tried to load the data in NEUROSHELL TRADER. But it did not. Then I removed the angled brackets <> from the lebels and saved. This time it worked.

Is there any way to remove those angled brackets when downloading the data.

How to use this data as realtime in my NEUROSHELL TRADER?

you cannot edit the tickers in the box. the rar file contains a Ticker.txt file along with the application. just jot down your favourite symbols in the Ticker.txt file and it will be done.

cheers,
jdm.
