nifty spot and future

hi all ,

I am new to futures trading , i tried to get this information but i could not find it anywhere , maybe because its naive ..

I found the difference between nifty spot and future reagarding the premium and discount .

My question is when i place a trade , which data should i follow , is it the spot or future . If i place a buy for 6000 then which one is being taken into account ?
does tat get filled at futures price(at a premium or discount) when nifty spot reaches 6000 or is it simply filled when nifty future gets to 6000 . or am i totally wrong about the whole idea . Please help

u have to trade in nifty futures not in nifty spot........
