SL for nifty future

Can someone please guide me regarding this:

Lets say i have gone long on NF at 5310. NF closed at 5340 for that day. I have put SL at 5310.

Now the next day, if Nifty future opened gap down at 5280, will my SL of 5310 automatically hit?

I am confused regarding the above thing.

Order Book Is Not Carried Forward To Next Day
