Hi Wastej:
I have had some difficulty in getting the prices as I am "trading blind" and not sure as to which sites to go to to get these prices, however based on Harish's valuations I am utilising similar prices for the puts and futures. Here are my valuations: Action today: Sold 400 futures @ 2420 Valuations: Long futures = (2420-2347)x400 = Rs 29200 Previous closed out profits = Rs 17400 Open profit on Long futures = (2417-2347)x200 = Rs14000 Open & Closed out profit on long futures = Rs 60600 Long Puts valuation = (46-15.4) x 2000 = -Rs 61200 Net position = Loss Rs (600.00) Open positions: Long 200 Futures @ 2346 Long 2000 (2340) puts @ 46 Regards Nautilus Last edited by nautilus; 5th September 2005 at 08:48 PM. |

Hi Joy_Mitali,
Thanks for very good compliment, it was very nice of you to acknowledge. I will be on the road all day, I will try to post trade mechanics for you later in the day, and in any case they will be posted before the market opens tomorrow. Regards, Wastej I had written this message this morning but never got a chance to post it, as I was on the road getting back home after long weakend break. Sorry for the delay. Soon I will post the trading plan for you, please check back little before the market opening hours. |

Hi Harish,
For today you will stick to your original plan selling Nifty futures at the limits of your resistance as mentioned in yesterdays plan. In addition you will take one more action i.e., in case if nifty comes down say 20points or so than you will sell 2 put contracts (200 put options) Strike Price 2360 again. If nifty comes down 40 points than you will liquidate 300put options (3contracts) of puts SP2340. That is all you need to do today. Thank you, Regards, Wastej |

Hi Nautilus,
Please stick to the original trading plan, Sell 200 Long future positions at a limit of 2450. If Nifty makes a move in your direction (South) say 20 to 25 points than sell 2 Contracts (200 Puts) SP2340 and 2 Contracts SP2330. Good Job done so far, keep it up. Good Luck, Wastej |

Hi Joy_mitali,
Like a savvy trader, you just don’t have a bias, just the resistance on both side of the market. I like that. You should pick up the trade where I left it. Assume you are holding 2000 put options and 600 Nifty future contracts. Please liquidate half of the future position at a limit of 2445 and the other half at 2465. In case if nifty starts breaking down, than liquidate 100 put options on each drop of 20 points. In addition you will also buy back the nifty futures 100 for every 20point drop in the nifty futures subject to maximum of 300. If there is a whiplash of 20 points you should have two trades, first of buying and the second selling both 100 future contracts. I hope I am clear; should you have any question, please do not hesitate to ask the same. Regards, Wastej |
