margin requirement if futures squared up intraday

can someone pls tell me if margin requirement is to be met if i trade in futures and square off the position in the same day i.e if i want to trade and square-off my future position intraday - say - using geojit - will i hv to keep margin money with them.

i m a newbie so pls excuse if the question seems silly
