Smile Nifty options expiring doubt urgent

hello,

i have written put options of nifty strike price 5800 and 5900 expiring on 31st Jan.

There was no extra fund available in my account.
with decline nifty..broker had squared up my position at the curent rate of high premium.
i have lost my entire portfolio and i have been asked to pay more than 51000 rs . thus i have been put to loss aggregating.
i understand that i am liable to pay the premium rulingon expiring on 31st jan 2008.
i fail to understand how broker can recover premium at the current rate before the expiriy and before the option is excersised.
i request valauble guidance in this regard..

writing options is for a well informed trader, the profit is limited and the loss unlimited, if u attempt to trade naked options buying an option has much less risk.
