If I dont exercise options??

Hello..

I just want to know what will happen if i dont square off my position of short option at the expitartion date???

Say if i have sold call of XXX @ Rs. 5 at the strike price of 1000 and spot price of XXX at the epiration is 900, do i need to square it off??? What will hapeen if i dont do tht???

Its a non-bailable offence, arrest warrants get issued immediately, I suggest you talk to your lawyer regarding this.
