50 Thousand to 3 Lakhs - Thoughts

Dear Members,
Is it possible to earn 3 lakhs from 50000 in a span of 6 months?

I would like to achieve this target and would want your thoughts regarding my 3 lakhs target.

Is it possible in 6 months, if not, then what can be the average ideal time to make this happen.

If not in 6 months, will it take 1 year, 2 years ?!!

Kindly give your thoughts and guide me where to start

I'm assuming that you are a beginner because you haven't mentioned 1)your risk% 2) markets you're trading.

First thing is that you should never concentrate on money goals because it adds extra pressure to "make money" whenever you take a loss.

Focus on changing your mindset.

What is so special in 6 months? Why not 1 week? or 1 year or even 6 hours?

Anything is possible in market, you may buy worthless Options on Banknifty 1 day ago expiry with 100% of your capital and say market swing 2% in your favour due to some RBI policy. You will meet more than 50% of your target in 1 day. But the risk is - what is odd of such possibility? 1%? Else you lose 100% of your capital.

So find out first?
1. What are you trading (Cash, F&O - Stock, F&O - Index or Commo')

2. What is your risk per trade (how much you are willing to lose per trade if you are wrong)

3.What is your trading system? What is the win rate and RR of the system and the trade frequency?

4. Most importantly - do you own this system you are trading with --> did you have enough practice, what is the track record?

Once you have an answer for all this , you probably ("probably") solve the question u are asking.

mhm yea possible if u manage to guess and buy right option.
money can get x4 times and even 0 in option

If you trade in futures and make even 30% then consider yourself as something as most ppls only end up loosing on year 2 year basis

It comes to about 2% per session, considering 100 sessions in 6 months. On paper it looks doable.

thats possible.....infact i did more than that during budget era (2016).....swing option trading....please do not ask me how i lost all of it.....:rofl::rofl::rofl: gambler gambler ......on serious note.yes possible but cannot be done consistently all the time....average trading can make 10-15 % per annum on capital consistently......one off year may be 100% or more some year negative some year 5% some 20% year like that......



------- exceptional trader can do that......but then when they settle down they work on big corpus for few % returns....just with one target....CONSISTENCY..

Yes possible.

But require eagle like approach with controlled greed & excellent money management skill
