IOC I entered long at 319 exit at 320.2. Then went short at 320.45 which I exit at 319. Missed the last upmove from 320 to 324 as was having lunch. No worry as it was a very fruitful day with zeel also gave 4 odd points. :thumb::thumb:

Expiry day didnt want too heavy positions. So quite happy overall.
I closed my day at 1:30 after losing all Tatasteel profits and loading losses due to overtrade , so crap day for me :annoyed:
anyway just seeing nifty over 8100 , did not expected this jump, so its good that I closed early otherwise more losses as I was only shorting. :D
infact I sud have closed around 11 am.

Still coming to terms with how the gangs use BN to tug NS. I'm observing this for many expiries now.
Last two days, it is very clear, that these are calculated moves planned in advance. We just have to trade the trend.
Need around 3-6k lots to do this plus that equivalent in underlying.

BNF was more bearish than NF all day as it was falling to near 17800 but NF was sticking to 8050 , after 1:30 they seem to move up ,
how do we know they continue to move down or reverse to up like today

Sorry, I forgot to answer, it was in my mind.

From FII sector-wise data, AUC(Asset under Custody), the largest % of investment is in Financial Sector.
Therefore, when you have to move the index future, the underlying also has to be moved, ie. index (spot).
This will be possible easily only when you are holding large quantities of the equity as well. Therefore, easier to move BNF than NF.
Again, by weight, BNF entities will be NF too, hence the tug.
