i too understand the dilemma... actually the sideway market i believe is never to be entered..... its just not possible to make an indi for it.... best for newbies is to wait and gain experience and experts is to try on their judgement....

Ravi, keep up the good work. However, I think Monday is a down day and the trend will be down. So, I strongly recommend against buying any stock.

Here is a list of candidates to SELL/Short on Monday.

Here are some candidates to consider for shorting:

United Phosphorous LTD
Bata India
Reliance
DLF
GAIL India
Apollo tyres
ONGC LTD
King Fisher Airlines
BHEL
IRB Infra
Philips Carbon

It would be great if someone can compare how these did on Monday after the market closes. I picked these based on my own research.

Yes i am tracking them and hence i asked for further list... Sorry i dont know the mode of operation of your stock pick... Pls dont mind my asking do we need to stick to the list untill a new list is posted??

macdowell was a roller coaster today.... had fun dealing in it...!! more stocks for more digging....:p
