The greatest advantage of POSITIONAL trader is GAP-UPs & GAP-DOWNs
depending on type of position.DAY-TRADER completely loses this. But
he enjoys VOLATILITY ,which POSITIONAL trader does not ,once he
exits his position.

There is no hard-and-fast rule.

Every style of trading has its own risks and rewards. Mostly, the type of trades is highly influenced by your personality.

Besides that, time you could spend in markets, capital you could employ, and more importantly the way you 'sees' the markets.

There is no ready-made answer for the question. And yes, you have to tell me which is good for you. :)

DAY-TRADER completely insulated from risk due to gaps.

exits his position.

Yeah people have got it right ... it completely suits your personality ... same goes for strategies that you develop too ...

But a general rule of thumb ... in INTRA you need high success ratio ... while in POSITIONAL your Money management is very very critical

The second one suits me better....

That's true. And trading overheads are too much in day trading
