Buy rate

#1
Hello Team,

I am a newbie in the stockmarket scenario. I am going through financial data like EPS, Profit Margin, Charts etc and narrowed down to some stocks which have performed consistently. I am unable to determine the right time to BUY a stock. I am sure it is based on some data points and BUY RATE threshold for that stock. Anyone having any advice on that..please revert. Thanks.

Define your duration for which you want to invest for : 1 month/6months/1 year

Allocate percentage of funds for each of these durations for which you want to invest for.

There is no right or wrong time to buy a stock. You cannot time market.

What you need to first do is to see what is market direction in short and long term. and then take calls based on your duration.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I shall plan accordingly. My interest is trying to understand the BUY RATE ..let me explain...for eg if I am focussing SBI the stock will have threshold value..it rarely falls below that line...it is always good to BUY in that manner...am I contemplating correctly or is there some other way to understand this?

When you have selected some stocks, based on the fundamentals, it can be bought at that time itself, expecting a good return in future. In case, if the price of the scrip falls, you can buy some more shares, till you feel it is a good buy.
